August 2014 Hello Sheri, Lot 14, or Kate as we call her is the most loving weanling I’ve ever been around. We’ve got 4 weanlings standing down there right now, two of which are yours; 2 are Driftwood babies. Sunday when we brought them home I walked in the trailer and crowded them up in the corner, put halters on them, and they stepped so gently out of the trailer into the round pen. We let them settle in and that night I went out to mess with them. After about five minutes Kate was already leading around with VERY little resistance. Blue, or Lot 15 was a little more resistant, but nothing bad. I thought my Driftwoods were calm, but they make yours look like they’ve been doing this for months now. Last night I went out when I got home and cooled off a bit and she came to the gate and met me. She just wanted to be loved on. I picked up all four feet on both of them with no problem at all. Kate’s so calm and loving she even gave Kaylee “horse kisses” as she calls them. I know they will enter a bratty stage, but as of right now they are probably the most loving weanlings I’ve ever owned. Now if I can get Rowdy to follow suit it will be perfect. I just wanted you to know they are great and we are sure enjoying them. My Dad even came out and played around with them (I think while we were at work so nobody knew) because he asked when we came home last night how come they were so calm. We love them.
We love to hear from past buyers-
