After riding these Blue Max Hancock daughters, and watching them enter our breeding program-we are more convinced than ever that Max is truly a once in a lifetime sire. These horses have the size, abilty and superior disposition that will take our program into the future.
SF Belle Dakota Blue is one of the most powerful Blue Max Hancock out of our great Leo-Pretty Buck bred mare McKeag Dakota Belle. Gentle, strong made, long strided-she is just what many are looking for in our program. She is a 100% grullo and grullo roan producer to date, and her colts carry the quality and ability that make them highly sought after.
"Belle Dakota Blue" produced "DP Resortfigure" (that was out top-selling foal in our sale in 2010), who recently topped the 2016 Roger Branch Performance Horse Sale in Oklahoma selling for $27,000! This good young mare was an AQHA World Show Qualifier in Tie-Down and money & ROM earner that will continue her career in South Dakota.
"Belle Dakota Blue" is also the grandam of our upcoming sire "Cielo Roan"-an exciting Gallo Del Cielo son that we sold half interest in two years ago in our sale for $10,500.
Invest in her progeny with confidence, they will make you a success in the horse business!
Tiger Lilly Hanccok is an elegant full sister to SF Belle Dakota Blue, also backed by the great mare McKeag Dakota Belle. Lilly's beautiful head and refined neck highlight her stylish profile, and her A+ disposition makes her a family favorite. Like her sister she was dependable and sturdy under saddle, but we couldnt resist adding her to the breeding program at age 4 and we haven't been dispointed. This mare produced "Gold Drift Hancock", a standout heel horse ridden Jr. Myers, CO, to earnings of over $40,000 in U.S. ropings and jackpots.
Blue Moon is a daughter of our great riding mare Clays Honey Moon, who was a ranch favorite that the whole family could ride. Like her mother, Blue Moon is really showing her ability as a great producer-her progeny are often roan, shapey and smart. Blue Moon was a good riding mare with a lot of quickness and turn, coupled with her strong, correct conformation we know she'll produce sound athletes. One of the really nice BMH daughters, she is made to last! 5 panel N/N
SF Honey Hancock was our very first BMH daughter that we retained, her laid back demeanor and functional conformation previewed for us what a broodmare sire Max would become. A real sweetheart, she rode extra quiet and her colts will do the same. Like her sisters she carries strong bone, a solid rock hard hoof, and a strong hip with lots of shape. Her sons have sold to IA & MO, where their new owners report that they are gentle and good natured. She produced James Brownlee's stallion "Romeo Drift Hancock", a very nice breeding horse in Southwest Missouri. SF Honey Hancock is also full sister to "Blue Moon Hancock"-they are the only two daughters of our great old "Moon" mare that was such a favorite to ride on our ranch.
SF Pretty Alyssa is a beautiful young BMH daughter from another great producing Goldfingers mare-Tee J Fancy Babe. Anyone that thinks Hancock bred horses are plain just needs to take one look at this mare-her gorgeous head, feminine features and graceful movement will prove otherwise. Her first few foals have exhibited her keen head and style, crossing her on Reata Valentine creates attarctive athletes. 5 panel N/N
Another top-notch Blue Max Hancock-McKeag mare cross, this blue roan mare shows the strong, correct conformation that has made these bloodlines of horses so sought after. Couple that with a steady willingness and calm outlook and you'll see why we appreciate this cross so much. Well started by Cal Middleton, her powerful stride and quickness make her an ideal addition to our program. Typical of the BMH daughters, she carries ample bone and muscle with that great roan color. She is a great cross on Reata Valentine, producing our top selling stud colt in 2016 at $2400 going to MO.
SF Valentine Kate is the last own daughter of our great old "Kate" mare-a time tested broodmare matron that carried a Goldfingers-Docs Dee Bar-Moores Ace pedigree. It sounds like a broken record, but Valentine Kate inherited her sire and dam's loving disposition and is a real pleasure to handle. We're excited to see this young mare continue the legacy of good-minded athletes that her dam established. After losing her mother in 2009, this is the closest link to these proven, valuable genetics. Kate produced our high selling weanlingin 2012, and is a full sister to a AQHA World Show Finalist and point-earning AQHA Calf Horse owned by Mike Twombly.
SF Blue Starway Kate descends from our great "Kate" family of mares, and holds the distinction of being one of the most athletically talented Blue Max Hancock daughters that we have ridden. She is quick, cowy, light on her feet and can really turn and stop. Carrying both the roan and grey genes, her colts are colorful, classy and a great investment for the future. Like all the "Kate" mares, she is in your pocket and wanting attention everyday. This fine mare produced our top selling 2016 filly in 2016, going to MT for $2400. Consider her as the source of your next great arena prospect or cow horse-she will not disappoint.
Sensara is a full sister to SF Blue Starway Kate, and shares her wonderful disposition and trainability. Made like a cowhorse, she's quick and collected in her movement. Her first filly is a beauty-highlighting her kind eye, cute head and quick movement. Another true genetic gem from our "Kate" family of mares. 5 panel N/N
2013 Blue Max Hancock daughter out of our great producer Miss Mizzouster-this is beautiful buckskin mare that we purchased back in 2016. A great riding mare, she floats across the ground with a long smooth stride and deep, powerful stop. She is a full sister to several great ranch horses, sale toppers, and a gelding that served as a pony horse at Churchill Downs. 5 panel N/N
This pretty Blue Max Hancock daughter is out of our good Goldfingers mare SF Miss Golfingers. Extra gentle, we think she has what it takes to be added to our breeding program. A 2010 model, she's competing with Cal Middleton for Ranch Horse Competitions.
